Scoala Generala Glogova (Romania)
Secondary School Glogova is situated in the village Glogova, at south-west of the Gorj county and about 15 km from the miner city Motru. It’s placed in a disadvantage area, mostly of parents being without jobs. Because the parents have economical problems there are some pupils with learning difficulties and they have limited opportunities in expressing themselves in different areas. In our school learn around 200 pupils and we have 20 qualified teachers. We have just few pupils with special needs, but there are more pupils with poor results in learning because of precarious situation of the family. The school is situated in a marvelous environment, yet the human impact on Nature is visible and that’s why we intend to improve it by our activities.
